Pro
$3,000 a year, per organisation
USD, billed once a year and renewing yearly until you cancel. One price, no tiers, whatever your tonnage. Every seat at your company included and no per user charge. Pay by card or ask us to invoice you.
- Everything in free.
- Model a packaging change and see what it avoids: elimination, right sizing, material switches, recycled content.
- The saving split into avoided fees, credits and avoided penalties, so finance can check each line on its own.
- Progress against statutory reduction targets, including SB 54 on weight and on plastic component count.
- Export the numbers with the assumptions and sources attached.
Reduction assessment
From $10,000 per engagement
Separate from Pro. Not an add-on, not included in it, and not a subscription. You do not need Pro to ask for one, and buying one does not give you Pro.
Pro tells you what a packaging change is worth once you have named one. It does not tell you which change to make. If you know your fee and do not know what to do about it, that is the gap this closes.
- We run your portfolio through the model and rank where the fee actually sits, category by category, against the published rates.
- We work through the levers that apply to your packaging and what each one is worth, stacked properly so two changes on the same item are not counted twice.
- You get the analysis in writing with the assumptions and the sources attached, in the form your board or your finance team can check.
Scoped and quoted per engagement, because it depends on how much packaging you carry and how many programmes you report into. It is not a subscription and there is nothing to cancel. What the analysis is worth depends on decisions only you can make, so we do not promise a number before we have seen your data.
Is it worth it
That is the right question, and the honest answer depends on your tonnage. A producer paying five figures a year in packaging fees is buying certainty on a much larger number, and one avoided material decision usually covers it. A producer paying a few hundred dollars should stay on the free tier and use the estimate.
Run your numbers first. The estimate costs nothing and tells you which of those two you are.
What you are not buying
TARE is a modelling tool. It does not file for you, it is not legal advice, and it does not replace your producer responsibility organization. Every figure is an estimate you can trace to a public document, which is a different thing from an invoice.
